When it comes to natural beauty, Goderich has much to offer. A 25 minute drive north from Brentwood on the Beach on Highway 21, Goderich is situated at the mouth of the Maitland River on Lake Huron. It is home to the only deep sea port on the Canadian side. Visitors and locals alike congregate at the harbour to watch the massive grain and salt ships come in for their fill. Take a stroll down the one mile long beachfront boardwalk. The courthouse square has 8 streets converging onto a round-about with shops and restaurants.
A line up of festivals bring people together in an historic downtown setting and provide an opportunity to sample Goderich culture and creativity. Take you time, explore the town, its nature and its character.
